December Meeting

Please join us for the December membership meeting on December 9, 2008 in the Missouri Baptist main auditorium!

We will have a timely discussion about Mental Health disorders and how these illnesses and the medications prescribed for these illnesses, can impact your client in ways that may surprise you. Dr. Vetta Sanders Thompson was a clinical psychologist for many years and is now teaching within Saint Louis University’s School of Public Health and within Washington University’s George Warren Brown School of Social Work.

This topic was purposefully planned for the December meeting, as winter itself and the winter holidays may increase mental health issues and these may impact your clients health and diet and their ability to follow a prescribed plan.

Additionally, we will have an introductory speaker from the Missouri Pork Board, Bill Kessler of Kessler Farms, who will update the membership on the latest information about the pork some of us and our clients consume.
